LG prototype running Windows Phone 7

At the Engadget Show earlier this week, Aaron Woodman from Microsoft demonstrated the upcoming Windows Phone 7 operating system on a LG phone. The surprice was not WP7, but the unannounced LG device. This is a prototype, and no official information about the phone is known. Except that it is running on Windows Phone 7 and has a full QWERTY keyboard.

LG to make wireless charger in 2010

LG logoLG today announced that they will have a commercially available wireless charger in the second half of 2010. The charging system has the size of a mouse pad (320 x 250) and enabels you to place the mobile phone on the pad to do the charging. It can charge up to three mobile phones at a time, but it is unknown what the requrements are. Maybe you need a LG mobile with a special LG-battery for this to work. The charger are said to give a positive contribution to the environmet by reducing electronic components and that is of course find. But the press release does not say how much power are wasted when doing the wireless charging.
